Why this product?

8 Hour Extended Burning System

The device’s ability to operate for 8 hours in slow combustion without refueling and without external intervention. After this period, there is a reserve of embers and refueling is sufficient to restart the device.

Origin Guaranteed

The Origine France Garantie label is the only certificate proving that the production of a product is of French origin. This labeling is specifically approved by an independent organization following an audit. (Bureau Veritas N°7208672).

Post Combustion System – Secondary Combustion System

Injection of pre-heated air into the combustion chamber. Additional air intake from the rear removes high-temperature hydrocarbons. In this way, combustion quality increases and pollution decreases.

Clean Glass

The clean glass system slows down glass contamination. The air intake at the top of the window creates a protective curtain. Preheated air is advanced across the glass. It protects the glass against smoke and soot deposits by triggering the combustion of gases and volatile materials.

How to Calculate Kw?

  • This is one of the most frequently asked questions from fireplace consumers. KW is the heating capacity obtained in 1 hour with 1 kg of dry wood thrown into the fireplace chamber or stove. This calculation is made in specially insulated rooms under laboratory conditions. In order to meet these conditions, manufacturers must have these tests done in the relevant units of universities.
  • KW can also be calculated in square meters or cubic metres.
  • 1 KW heat = min 5.2 m² – max 16.0 m² or min 13.0 m³ – max 40.0 m³
  • When calculating cubic meters, ceiling heights are taken as 2.5 m as standard.

What is Double Combustion (Secondary) Combustion System?

  • Secondary combustion system is the complete combustion of the gas that cannot be burned with the oxygen entering from the first ventilation inlet in your fireplace or stove, with the oxygen entering from the second ventilation system. Efficiency is higher and wood consumption is lower in fireplaces and stoves with a secondary combustion system.

What is Green Flame Certificate?

  • Flamme Verte Certificate; It is a standard label issued by the Renewable Energies Association, which has been issued for 10 years on the heating market and renewable energy and consists of 90 different brands, and is constantly developed. Products with green flame certification are high quality and environmentally friendly products. Pollutant emission rates are low and their efficiency is at maximum level. Efficiencies are minimum 70% for wood burning fireplace chamber and stove, and minimum 85% for pellet fireplace chamber and stove.

What is a Glass Cleaning System?

  • The purpose of standard glass cleaning systems is to prevent soot formation on the glass by creating an air curtain between the ceramic glass and the flame.
  • Advanced glass cleaning systems both protect the glass from soot and clean it with the advanced flame that occurs.
  • Of course, your wood must be dry for the glass cleaning system to work properly.

Why us ?

  • BVM  , French casting and enamelling works, has been established in Donchery in the French Champagne-Ardenne region since 1924. It is number 1 in Europe with its annual production of 170,000 solid fuel stoves and fireplace inserts.
Bvm manages the entire production process in-house: Research and development, design, testing phase, foundry, enamel facility, COFRAC approved laboratory facility for heating tests, marketing and distribution services, as well as every stage of production and distribution.
  • Additionally ,  Bvm has become the most well-known and most reliable brand in solid fuel stoves and fireplaces with its TV commercials over the years.
  • Bvm ‘s expertise spans many sectors: wood stoves, hybrid stoves, pellet stoves, fireplace inserts, as well as barbecues, cast iron cookware and pots, decoration and furnishing products.
  • Optimization, innovation and revolutionism are the three watchwords in  Bvm ‘s R&D department. Some innovations designed by Bvm, such as the secondary combustion system and the reverse combustion system, have contributed greatly to the improvement of energy performance. Consumer efficiency is maximized with systems that increase the user experience by providing better control of the combustion rate, such as air control technology. Bvm R&D team continues to develop more technological, efficient and environmentally friendly products for you, our customers, every day.
  • Bvm continually improves the energy performance of motion-activated wood heating devices with the creation of the French Flamme Verte green flame certification.  With the law enacted in January 2015, it has been made mandatory by the French Government to produce environmentally friendly products with a minimum of 6 or 7 stars. In this way, the environmental damage of the products produced is minimized and the efficiency rate is increased to the maximum level.
  • In our own COFRAC-certified laboratories, systematic quantitative tests (performance, CO ratio, dust concentration) are carried out on each new model.  All of Bvm’s wood burners carry the European Eco Label, energy class A or A+.  Many of our products already comply with European Eco-Design 2022 standards.  Bvm’s ISO14001 certification is our commitment to protecting the environment.
  • In addition,  one of the most important features that distinguishes Bvm from other companies is that it produces castings with closed casting molds, smooth and without air bubbles, leaving no gaps inside Cast products are never created by remelting scrap castings. This prevents scrap castings of unknown origin from entering your home, keeping you away from an unhealthy fireplace or stove.
  • Bvm is a unique brand that can appeal to the budgets of all our customers with its design, efficiency, functionality, durability, diversity and price.
